Mr. Mohammad Omara is a
Microelectronic Circuit Designer specialized in
designing Digital Communication Systems and
Embedded Microprocessors.
Mr. Omara
received his B.Sc. in Electronics and
Communications from University of Alexandria ,
1999. He also studied VLSI and Embedded Systems Design
in the Egyptian Information Technology Institute
in cooperation with Mentor Graphics Egypt. After
receiving his post graduate degree from the iTi ,
Mr. Omara worked as a teaching assistant for VLSI
in the iTi. At the same time, he was a Hardware
Designer in Mentor Graphics’ Incubator System.
In January
2001, Mr. Omara moved to Ellipsis Digital Systems
International. Ellipsis Digital Systems was a
startup American International Company in the
field of Communication Systems Design. Inside
Ellipsis, Mr. Omara contributed to the first
microprocessor baby-born for Ellipsis.
In May 2002,
Mr. Omara moved to San Diego Ellipsis headquarter
to contribute with the rest of Ellipsis engineers
to more embedded microprocessors composing the
pilot project of the company which was an IEEE
802.11a standard based wireless LAN Chip.
Later, Mr.
Omara contributed to more than 5 microprocessors,
a standard for interfacing PHY components with
Data/Control buses, base-band controller model and
much more.
Mr. Omara is a
registered designer in the International Open
Cores organization for open-source hardware design
(www.opencores.org).
